When to go?

India has three main seasons. From October to March the weather is cool and dry, making it a very pleasant time to explore the city on foot. Temperatures begin to rise in April and the hot weather lasts until June, with temperatures soaring upto 45ºC. India experiences its rainy season from July to September which is characterized by frequent downpours and sometimes drizzling droplets.
