Chandertal- Base of Deo Tibba Trek 5 Days
This trek leads you south towards the small town of Jagatsukh, which was once the capital of Kullu Valley. Here are some ancient temples worth visiting. From here the trail leads upward towards Village Khanol and then onto the best of one of the most famous peaks in Kullu district - the Deo Tibba (6001 m). A trek that leaves you very satisfied.

The best time to do this trek April to July.
Day 1: Manali to Jagatsukh then to Chhika (3540mts.) 6hrs.
We drive to Jagatsukh 6km. then trek to through the stretch of 5km. This will be steep, through forest and then long and wide alpine plateau with wild flowers to reach Chhika.
Day 2: Chhika to Seri (3980mts.) 5hrs.
A Delightful campsite with meadows all around. The route is along the right bank of Jagatsukh Nallah. Seri was once a glaciated lake but now a meadows with various varieties of herbs and carpeted by alpine flowers.
3rd Day Seri To Chandertal (4270mts) then to Seri 6hrs.
We finnaly reach beautiful lake with emerald blue water - Chandertal lake. Situated at the base of Deo Tibba. The flora enthusiast will have a wonderful time trying to identify the hundreds of flowers growing everywhere. Once you get enough of the nature around the lake, descend down to Seri camp.
4th. Day Seri To Chhika. 5hrs.
Now the trek continuous and descends to Chhika. One can find herbs and flowers which were missed while ascending towards Seri.
5th. Day. Chhika To Jagat Sukh then drive to Manali.6 hrs.
Trek down to Jagatsukh. Visit the temple of Ved Mata Gayatri which is construted by the Pandvas and the temple of lord Shiva.
The trek ends here and then you drive back to the town Manali.
