Kerala experiences pleasant weather throughout the year. It is a paradise for tourists. The ideal time to visit Kerala:- The best time to visit Kerala would be in the months of October to March. These months are usually the high season for Kerala visit.
Day 1: Cochin
Arrive and Transfer to Hotel – After Afternoon proceed for city Tour-Visit Jewish Synagogue, St.Francis Church where Vasco Da Gama was buried, Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets and by evening board a boat for sunset backwater cruise. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2: Cochin
After Breakfast proceed to visit the famous Guruvayoor Temple – [100kms 2 ½ hrs] where several 100 weddings are solemnized everyday – visit the elephant yard where 100 elephants owned by the temple authorities are being fed later visit the beautiful waterfalls of Athirampally and Cherai Beach which was struck by Tsunami. Arrive Cochin by evening for shopping and at 8 pm visit the most beautiful Rosary Park attached to a very famous Church called Vallarppadam Church – Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Cochin - Munnar
After breakfasts checks out at 8 am and proceed to Munnar [140 kms 3½ hrs] – enroute visit an elephant training camp. Here one gets a chance to have an elephant ride into the forest – arrive Munnar by noon and check into a beautiful resort. Afternoon visit tea factory situated at an altitude of 8000 ft above sea level - Return to town for spice shopping –overnight in resort.
Day 4: Munnar - Alleppey
After an early breakfast check out at 8 am to proceed to Alleppey to board the Houseboat (a traditional boat built to carry coconut, rice and spices from coast to coast) which offer accommodation for a family with sitting room, bedroom and kitchen – overnight in Houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppy - Airport
After Breakfast check out and proceed to Airport to catch flight back home.
