Day 1: Rock climbing in Chiang Mai
You will be picked up from your accommodation in the morning and taken to Crazy Horse, where you’ll try rock climbing. The instructors will go through the safety regulations and make an introduction to rappelling and rock climbing. In the beginning of the day you will be taught different climbing techniques and start out with some easier climbs, before getting to the more advanced levels in the afternoon finishing with a 50 meter rappelling from a big cliff cave. At the end of the day you will be taken to Mae Gompong home stay, where you will be welcomed by the local townspeople. At night you can help cook your own dinner. (L,D)
Day 2: Flight of the Gibbon
After breakfast you will go on a light trek to the main office, where the day’s jungle experience starts. Here, you’ll meet with the guides, who will make sure all safety standards are met and help you with the equipment. You are then taken by car to the first platform, where the big adventure of the day begins. 15 cable railways in the jungle and a system of platforms, tree houses and sky bridges enable you to jump from treetop to treetop 120 meters above ground. You will hear the special sounds of the jungle and see completely untouched nature. The trip through the jungle is 2 kms long and takes approximately 3 hours, ending with a vertical descent of around 80 meters. After flying around the jungle, dinner will be served and you’ll have the opportunity to visit a waterfall approximately 10 mins walk from the main office. (B, L)
