Halong Bay - Cat Ba Private Tour

This trip to Halong Bay is unique! You have your own private boat and captain where you can enjoy a self-paced tour in the spectacular Halong and Lan Ha Bay. You'll visit Thien Cung and the Dau Do caves as well as the town of Cat Ba among other things. There will also be lots of time to take a bath and slacken off on the boat's sun deck. This private trip is particularly and very suitable for families.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Cat Ba. (L, D)
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Hanoi with a private car/minibus to Halong City. Here you go on board on a beautiful boat, which sails you out in Halong bugten's green water, which reflects the fancy limestone formations. The lunch is served on board. The boat makes stop's during the sail, where you can visit the impressive Thien Cung and Dau Do caves. After that, the boat continues to the Cat Ba island. On the way, if you like you can jump into the clear water and take a bath. Staying over night at Holiday View hotel (***).

Day 2: Cat Ba island - National park. (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, at 8:30 you'll be fetched in a car or minibus and driven to Cat Ba National Park. During the visit in the park you'll have a chance to take a short trek to the top of Ngu Lam Peak. The ascent is a little steep, and the path may be smooth. The hiking tour to the top takes about 40 minutes, and you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view over the island and Halong bugten. Later you have a chance to visit the Quan Y cave, which was used as military hospital during Vietnam war. Back to Cat Ba town to have lunch. In the afternoon, you can spend your time for relaxing and sunbathing on one of the island's three beaches. Staying over night at Holiday View hotel(***).

Day 3: Cat Ba - Hai Phong - Hanoi. (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a chance to explore more of Cat Ba town and see a local market. In the afternoon, you take a hydrofoil express boat to Hai Phong city, where a car/minibus is waiting for driving you back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi at about 18:00.
